Quiet routes

Featured Posts

Back waters of the BCN, quiet, deep, crystal clear waters, loads of shops. And if you leave the Nicholsons behind you can get lost for days, no one to ask directions off.

Pedant alert

hordes of travellers

hoards of gold

each to their own.

Please elucidate, you have me confused.

Why do you consider me to be a pedant? Are you being insulting or just rude?

I don't think you are a pedant, it's me being a pedant, there was improper usage of hoards somewhere on the thread, but now I can't find it to quote, it just happened my post #27 came just after your post #26.

Anyway, I thought you had  me on ignore :)

I admire self criticism in a lady, its very noble.  Is the word " hoards" on the banned list then?

Oh I see, hordes  was quoted, correctly.  Hoards is as in stash of money, incorrect in this application. Now I'm penantic, its catching.😁

I relented and took you off ignore when you became respectable and chased The boiling head Mike away. 🌹🌹🌹

Besides I have sooooo many on ignore that I need someone to talk to. Its been really quite this week apart from plaster board, Vanner, and alternator threads.

Anyway, its quiet on the BCN.

I resmble that remark. Sadly MtB blew his stack when hit by friendly fire, failed to read my immediate apology and explanation by pm. I don't know what he is up to at the moment, probably busy making his millions, he can come back any time.

There are wolves, the summit pass is infested with Morris dancers, as @dmr knows. @dmr probably hasn't met the wolves, he is wise, he has a wolfhound on his boat, but his attire will attract Morris dancers. A suit will scare them off.

I don't want to become a forum pedant, but its a Scottish deerhound (or half of) not a wolfhound, and those dancers are not morris dancers,(that's poncy southern stuff), the dancers up here are real proper clog dancers and you really don't want them getting on the roof your boat.

Actually loads of people warned us about Manchester yobs getting on the roof of the boat but nobody mentioned the clog dancers at the Summit. 😀,
