Dartagnan Posted April 3, 2018 Report Posted April 3, 2018 I would like to get some cushions made for the seating area of our cratch . We are moored close to Uxbridge but have a car so can travel if need be. Would anybody have any personal recommendations? I am hoping that the weather may eventually improve and would therefore like to make use of the available space if and when it does!
Just Heaven Posted April 3, 2018 Report Posted April 3, 2018 We used these people http://www.cbscc.co.uk/caravan_and_boat/caravan_boat_furnishings_upholstery.html Obviously a bit far out from Uxbridge, but they did a really good job for us. Steve 1
Chewbacka Posted April 3, 2018 Report Posted April 3, 2018 If money is tight have you considered having a look to see if garden furniture cushions would be a reasonable fit? 1

Steve Thank you. Had a look at the website and they seem very good. I saw mention of subsidised delivery which helps 2 hours ago, Chewbacka said: If money is tight have you considered having a look to see if garden furniture cushions would be a reasonable fit? I hadn’t considered it but what a great idea. Thank you
Timx Posted April 3, 2018 Report Posted April 3, 2018 I have a semi trad, so measured for front and back. On e bay I found a firm that does foam type cushion fillings.Ordered them, then some waterproof material to cover them. Then gave them to my partner to do the easy bit of sewing. They are great, don't need precise measuring, and take some abuse in winter, but easy to wipe down, hard wearing and cheap, if you do a little ground work.
