Paul Mills

Many of you in the North West, and further afield, will know Paul.  He was very active in the early days of the Shropshire Union Canal Society and latterly with the Small Task Team Volunteers.

 

I'm sorry to report that after a lengthy battle with cancer Paul died peacefully last night.

Didn't know Paul. I find it sad whenever anyone crosses the yardarm.

Didn't know him, but it sounds as though he did his stint for the canal system RIP  you will be remembered

Paul was one of the founder members of the volunteer force on the Shroppie and worked hard latterly for the Small Tasks team.

Great bloke and will be badly missed. We in the North West have now lost in the last year two exceptional canal people in Paul

himself and Mike Carter of the IWA.
