mikedel
We have just come through from Oxford to Napton. The level is low in the summit pound but negotiable at slow speed if you don't mind running aground occasionally when passing other boats. Of course it depends on your draught - we draw two feet and only had to push through the mud on one lift bridge - but anyone drawing over 30 inches is going to struggle a bit. Thanks in advance Chalky Its about normal for this strectch. If you have an old fashioned clunky engined deep draughted boat with a mid engine room and boatmans torture cupboard at the back you may find it awkward in places. If you have a nice modern build you will find it a pleasure.
