  1. You can no longer buy Comastic due to H&S issues, dont paint your deck or gunnels in blacking you will regret it. I use Epifanes Multiforte Fast drying, semi gloss, durable paint suitable for decks, walkways and roofs. Provides excellent protection for high traffic areas. The added acrylic copolymer element gives this paint excellent adhesion to almost any surface. Use on wood, steel and aluminium, inside and outside of above the water line, in combination with the corresponding primers. For increased gloss level: add 10% Epifanes Clear Gloss Varnish. Tough, durable semi-gloss finish Excellent surface adhesion Easy maintenance

  7. We got a new boat that makes some weird noises, in the morning and in the evening, creaking cracking banging from inside any reasons for this. thanks in advance
  8. would not recommend thinning, warm it up and knock it up before applying 4" roller main area to apply waterline

  12. Hi looking at have a narrowboat built, had prices from 60k to 120k from Bluewater, sherwood, JD Narrowboats, to name but a few has anyone had any dealings with any of the above mentioned boat builders. the size of the boat is 58ft, semi trad reverse layout. thanks in advance

  16. well what a find and yes they look good to. I been looking at some captain chairs for some time, looking in the usual places all being £300 + per chair then I popped into the Range and there they were captain chairs at a snip at £120 each they look great and are easy to put together and as a added bonus they come with a foot stall check them out Chalky White

  18. i think us boaters should stick together and start a vigilante group and show this scum what will happen to them should they get caught in the act, maybe had down the weed hatch while the prop is running. hope the scum get caught

Hi, today we took up our new mooring at Brinklow Marina, what a great place to moor, miles of lock free boating Rugby to the right Hawkesbury Junction to to left (great place for a mixed grill) Harbour Master showed us where we were mooring and waited on the end of the jetty to make sure we were happy and settled in, he the took us to our old mooring to pick up the car a real gent thanks Erick. When all tied up an hour or so later the owner of the marina knocked the roof to welcome us to the marina (now that a first) all in all looking forward to staying here Rory & Sarah
