Fiddle and Bone/ Sherborne Wharf.

Hi,

I'm currently moored in Brum, just up from the Fiddle and Bone, I need to get some diesel but half noticed there wasn't any one manning the services there over the weekend. I tried phoning today, but eventually got the fax tone. When I called at the weekend it was past 4:00PM, so got an answer phone message.

Anyone know if they still sell diesel, coal and gas from the Fiddle? or has everything moved back to Sherborne Wharf?

Thanks in advance

Rob

Yes, they still sell diesel, just not manned permanently. They have 2 numbers. 0121 455 6163 and 0121 454 5367. Alternatively give a shout to the water taxi when it goes by.

Pete moored just before Sherborne Street Bridge.

I bought diesel there last week by calling the number. Currently selling red at 70p per litre. The pub is still shut as Earl wasn't making any money from it and has sold to a London pub company who recently opened The Button Factory in the Jewellery Quarter. It's being re-refurbed and opened next year.

Is this the Fiddle and Bone? It was heaving every day in the summer when we were there!
