Which S&L tugs attended, has Vesta been repaired?

 

Tug No 1, Tug No 2 (Algol) & Pacific attended, also Squire, which was one of the S&L tube carrying boats.

 

Vesta is still sadly without engine, and my understanding is that Bittell has serious hull issues, although I don't know where it is now, or if they are already being addressed.

 

The owner of Tug No 2 tells me another gathering of S&L boats is being planned at Coombeswood for next year - hopefully the missing two will be up and running again by then.

 

I was staggered to be told that by next year it will be 10 years since the last of these gatherings.

 

I wonder if non S&L tugs with similar capabilities are welcomed? I would love to take Sickle there.

Was nice to see 5 s&l boats even better to see the 4 tugs shame they wernt in order could have had tugs 1-4 infront then squire behind them.

 

Except that No 3, Vesta was not present!
