I don't care whether I find the pawls on or off, as I always try to wind the paddles closed before winding them up, in case it is jammed.

LOL - no worries, I give as good as I get in that regard, and really couldn't care less what others think of the look & size of our boat, we love her and that's really the only thing any owner should care about IMO

 

I do enjoy the banter and can count on MtB to provide it most times
