Bridgewater Canal open

As the canal opens again today at 12 noon can anyone tell me if there is likely to be any mooring space in Castlefield tonight.

Will probably take a while for the traffic to filter out due to the hold up. Hope the Rochdale 9 will not be too busy this time next week

YUP. But you have to stay with your boat.....a boat recently sank there....the water level in that pound changes a lot, and there's silting on the offside. The smell of burgers grilling, and the vibe is great through....it's my next "outing" stoppover, before going onto the Bridgewater for 6.9999999999 days.
