Yorkshire Waterways Museum Imminent Closure?

Looks like a good place, doing good things, and looking after and using good boats.

 

Website is seriously dated however, and I was totally unaware of the places existence.

We loved our visit to the museum last year...we were naughty. And overstayed a day on the visitor mooring just so we could do the harbour trip which was ace! Thoroughly recommend a visit to anyone!

I was there today and talked to them about their website. As with many similar places, it was put together by a volunteer, and they are aware that it is out-dated. They are currently looking for funding to rebuild the whole site professionally in a manner easier for volunteers to look after.

Don't forget they have their 'Folk & Sail' event on the weekend of 18/19 July.
