Now, disappearing symptoms!!!!!!!

What on earth is going on?

In my last post “Disappearing water” everything pointed to a blown head gasket.

I have now purchased everything I need to replace said gasket.

Miraculously all symptoms have disappeared.

Is there a God after all?

Did He say “Gasket heal thyself”?

And lo the gasket healith itself?

Or is this all, just another one of the laws of Sod?

Will they reappear when least expeted?

Any ideas?........Please.

No nothing of the sort. I was hoping to acquire a new boat that had been for sale for over 3 years. Someone else put an offer in on it a few hours before me. That is beyond Sods Law!

I find this sort of thing happens to me too.

When you think about it properly, it makes sense. When the economy is bad, I have no money and the banks are not lending, there are loads of bargains about but I just can't finance them. When business is good, I have the access to money but so does everyone else, so the bargains get bid up so they are no longer bargains. I remember looking at Reading terraced houses changing hands for £25k in the pit of the recession before last and thinking they were one helluva bargain but no-one was buying them because no money was being lent. Now the same houses are making quarter of a million!

Not that this helps. But understanding why and how this happens can help you get ahead of the curve, slightly...
