Vetus filters on offer

This seemed a pretty good offer to me genuine parts (from the picture): oil filter, fuel filter, impellor, gaskets and O ring for £40. Seems like a bargain for genuine parts I might go for it.

Presumably they're flogging them off because most Vetus owners have now realised that substitutes can be obtained for less than half the price of the Vetus branded originals.

Decided to take a trip up to Brightlingsea with a mate to look at the boats and have a sniff round for some bits for his elderly gaffer, as I was going there thought I would pick up a kit for my Vetus.....

Fortunately I phoned French Marine first and found that the guy there knew nothing about it......it was all based at the Brundel branch, anyway they shipped one down to Brightlingsea to pick up.

Incidentally odd little place, but lots of interesting old boats (lots of smacks)
