Water Rat.
The Electrolux gas fridge has decided not to do its thing! It used to be pretty good and I could freeze stuff in the ice box, but now it is not cooling at all. Any ideas? We are away until September so rather need it. BEngo
Is the gas burning OK? If not clean the burner and flue tube and try again. Otherwise: Empty it. Disconnect it. Invert it. Shake. Stand the right way up and reconnect. Wait 24 hours. Re-start. if that fixes it, good, if not it's fecked, probably because the magic ammonia has leaked out. Tony Brooks
I also found that attacking the pipes on the back with a slipper heel helped mix up the chemicals inside. Do NOT try that on a 12V or mains fridge. All advice would stand a good chance of wrecking it.
