Camden locks and Cowley locks

Featured Posts

Due to excessive water loss through these locks the water level between Cowley and Camden has dropped significantly.

To help maintain the levels to support all users the lock gates and ground paddles will be locked between the hours of 22.00 and 07.00 each night until further notice. This will ensure water reserves are preserved for the further use and enjoyment of all.

It seems to be at about the same level here as it was before the storms. I'll have a look at the weir at Bulls Bridge if I get time in the next couple of days.

Water leaking through Cowley would increase the water level!

That's one hell of a long pound to drop due to a leaky gate at Camden!

Must be more to it than that surely!

They've been dredging the Slough Arm in the last few days. Maybe they took out a bit too much?

Forgot to mention, there also seems to be a leak from the area of the aqueduct over the North Circular near Wembley.
