ditchcrawler
I was just flashing through the TV channels and went through the shopping channel where they had the Sony Xperia which was working underwater. It could be handy on the boat for the interctive guides and maps that are out there now http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/products/tablets/xperia-tablet-z/?gclid=CK_208yk2roCFceWtAod4CgApw
Dave Payne
Nice bit of kit, Sony always do turn out good equipment, didn't realize they made a waterproof version also. Only issue is price, as all Sony gear it can be expensive.

Having just given my iPhone to jan it.s on my shortlist come upgrade time.

Do you work for QVC I believe that Adobe has pulled the plug on providing Flash for Andriod devices a little while ago, so you have to find a work around, usually through obtaining a version from a 3rd party site, then installing the APK with a tool. Have a google and you should find all you need on the net, i did do it with one of my tablets and its not hard at all. http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-57554629-285/install-adobe-flash-player-on-jelly-bean-devices/

You saved me a search. I like what the OP found but being a tight wad (& not just a little broke) I aproached 'the what if I fall in' thing from a different angle. Phone @ £15 with free sim from supermarket. Tablet @ £38 post payed from China + a £3 card. They all work much better than I dared hope & if when I fall in & the device takes a bad knock I'll be anoyed rather than seriously out of pocket. Taslim
What phone did you get and are you tethering with the tablet through wireless? Phone is a Samsung & it 'aint smart but Pestco/02 PAG give remarkably good coverage. The tablet tether is to a dongle or any wifi hot spot. If you'r being naughty free downloads from Android allow use of poorly encrypted hot spots.
