I have never been there and from your video, the arch next to the one you went quite rightly through following the arrows, looks much bigger. Why is that one not used as a matter of interest? When the navigation was reinstated one arch needed to be deepened and the most straightforward one was nearest the bank. The other areches are all but out of the water. It is alleged that the local authority in the 1960's demanded a progress report every week (the bridge is a scheduled ancient monument). David Hutchings submitted his first and only report after six days, saying "It's finished" I can confirm that, when we went through at the end of June the ducks were walking around in the other arches there is little water going through then at normal (well low really) levels.
