Crt Trent Lock Visitor Information.

I was just reading the CRT visitor information board by the CRT facilities at Trent Lock on the Erewash Canal and it was proudly displaying it's new CRT logo.

 

However, inside the display are two large posters advertising the IWA festival and boat show for August 2009, yes 2009! And a forthcoming closure notice of a section of the Erewash in January 2010!

 

I guess it didn't occur to the person who stuck on the new CRT logo's to clear out the old notices!

 

Perhaps I am the only sad git who actually reads them!

This is all part of the new CRT's mission - it's all about 'heritage' - what you're seeing is history in the making. Don't disturb it!

The CRT notice board at Brownhills Sanitary Station has a map of the Northern BCN which shows water & elsan facilities at Bloxwich, which I don't recall, and nothging at Brownhills, which have been there for at least 6 years.
