Cutting up my Tempur mattress

I have a spare Tempur mattress and would like to put on the boat, but it is too wide - has anyone cut one down before and if so what did you use?

If this is a foam type of mattress you can buy special jig-saw blades for the job- they are a bit like a micro bread knife.

I used an electric carving knife, it cut through the mattress very easily and neatly.

We used a Bread knife, worked fine if a bit slow.
