Farmers and other land owners, (typically offside - often usually on CRT waters you have to pay a reduced fee to CRT in addition to that paid to the land-owner).

Cruising clubs, (you may typically have to be interviewed by a "commodore" and their committee to be considered).

I could do with marina as ill be away allot.

What i was getting at was where else do the moorings get advertised.

I get mags and keep an eye out online but they seem to be rare on Lancaster canal.

There a number of marinas on the Lancaster,visit them and get your name on their list.

Nothing beats actually going along the canal, seeing them then either getting a phone number off an advertising board there, or marking its location then researching a bit on the internet when you get back.

You may opt to pay the landowner a rent and the end of garden mooring/farmer's field fee to CRT.
