Winding on the Welford Arm

Can you wind a full length boat at the end of the Welford Arm, Leicester section GU, I know there is not an official winding hole but I recall a wet dock where I turned a 60' years ago.

yes, theres two winding oles, one just before marina and one outside the dock, both official.

I winded a 70' boat there last year, it's not exactly spacious but I managed it using just tiller and throttle.

......and watch out for NB 'Golden Valley' when your down there as they love to pass judgement on any boats winding there, who might not happen to do things the way they would....as I once found out!!
