Queens trip afloat

I see the Queen ventured on to the cut, pity about the bars and the yellow and black tape but I suppose we can't have her taking a dip on an official trip.

My mum became a republican, as a child, when she went on a school tour around the queen's train carriage and they showed her the royal loo (dump through, straight onto the tracks, I imagine) and realised that her madge shat, just like the rest of us.

We saw The Pride of Sefton 2 setting off from near Burscough last Thursday. I make that 44 locks and a few swing bridges away from Burnley.
