I'm sure those with responsibility for water supply in the East would love for the Nene to be in flood at the moment, so they could pump some of the water up to the reservoir at Graffam. MP. DaveG Posted February 2, 2012 Report Share Posted February 2, 2012 The local news has just reported that rivers and reservoirs in the region are at their lowest since 1921 = even the Welney Wetlands risk being renamed the "Drylands"! At this time of year, The Welney to Littleport road across the washes, Would normally be under 6ft of water at this time of year. People are still driving across Firesprite In the bright and clear Fens, Winter is sure to take another bite Er, this was last year.
