bag 'o' bones
Well I thought the Murder On the Orient Express was absolutely supurb. Especially the scene at the end where Poiroit walks away from the murderers tormented by indecsion. Suchet at his best!
cotswoldsman
Commander of The Order of The British Empire!!! What is all that about if they are going to continue with these honours at least they could give them a meaningful name. In this case just an honour that says very average actor. carlt
A friend of mine is a KCMG and he has a bit of paper, he carries round with him, to remind him what it means (Knight Commander of St Michael and St George).

Québec
Here's an interesting list of the 'well-known' people who have declined an honour. Doesn't include, of course, the many 'ordinary' people who I'm sure have similarly declined. http://www.worldlingo.com/ma/enwiki/en/List_of_people_who_have_declined_a_British_honour
blackrose
Howard Goodall got a CBE for writing the theme music to Blackadder! WTF? Bit late isn't it? Anyway, I was never a big fan of slack bladder. I once met Howard Goodall on Putney Common, not in a gay way you understand. He just happened to be walking the other way and I asked him for directions. Edited January 1, 2011 by blackrose
