andy the hammer
We stopped off in Adlington yesterday for provisions and popped into the Marina Cafe situated in the White Bear Marina on the Leeds and Liverpool. The cafe is run by a charity the staff are mainly people with learning difficulties and support staff, the aim is to train the people with disabilities to stand alone and integrate them into the local community. So if you are looking for a quick bite and a coffee at a reasonable price and are in the area give this cafe a look.

gaggle
The people who served me each time i visited have downs sydrome , dont know if they had learning difficulties as they seemed to learned perfectly well to welcome and serve customers very well indeed , i in fact wondered why such good service cannot be had when visiting other places. I thought last time i visited white bear the cafe had closed as when i was about to enter a door i noticed a sign saying made to measure bra,s and shot back to my car , i then noticed the bra shop was next door to the cafe. The man who serves people in the chandlers is another who i would praise for a helpful and pleasant attitude.
