It means that there is just one assisted passage for any number of boats in each direction. i.e. if 4 boats are waiting at the bottom lock at 10am they will be the ones who go up.

 

Not that it matters now as all restrictions on the canal were lifted today !

I would double check this just in case.

Is that what the notice meant? It wasn't exactly clear. I have asked BW for clarification but received no reply as everyone had gone home for the weekend!

Nothing to do with the stoppage but thought i would just add that the shop almost adjacent to haskayne village hall closed for good last saturday , no papers ,milk ,bread or other bits can be had anymore at the location.
