10 Bantocks (ex Matty) kept one as tug "Revenge" (never completed sold on) 1981- 82

GUCCCo / T&S Element "King George V" (Umbriel) 1983-1986

 

Did a lot then with Chris Coburn on nb "Progress" 1988 -1998

 

Leased GUCCCo MB "Barnet" 1998-2003

 

Leased with CanalScape-BCNGUCCCo mb "Barnet" current ongoing.

 

Aslo aquired for "Moving Forward" and will be looking after GUCCCo "mb "Pinner", BTW Admiral class "Effingham" and GUCCCo "Zodiac" (more likely is Tucana) (if Moving Forward Birmingham ever get their arse into gear.)

Norman 20 - 1987 - 1992 (I used to go to sea in that )

Sealine 22 sport - 1992 - 2000 - went to sea in that too - Caledonian Canal - Mull etc

Shetland Family 4 - 2000 - still got it - does anyone want to buy it - cheap to a good home!

52 ft Reeves/Milburn modern trad 1998 - now

 

(Would love to buy your Shetland but skint, sorry!!)

 

Anyway:

 

1) 8foot Fibrocell Dinghy (aged 9).

2) 1942s Wooden 10.5 foot sailing dinghy (unknown class (still own it and sail it ))(aged 11).

3) Valiant 18 Sailing Cruiser (tidal only!!)

4) FAME Concorde 15 (canal: 6hp, tidal use 25hp 30mph (still got the 6hp))

5) Norman 20 with 20hp engine.

6) Yeoman 16 with same 20hp engine.

7) Suzumar Inflatable Dinghy with 8hp engine originally, now only 4/2.5hp.

8) GP14 Sailing Dinghy (love it!!)

9) Mirror Dinghy

10) Glen-L Squirt speed boat

11) Unknown type Sailing Dinghy

12) 8foot Dinghy unknown make

 

Use of (Parents!!):

 

1) Fletcher Arrow 13 (speed boat) with 40hp Johnson (approx 1959 vintage).

2) Fletcher 15 foot (speed boat) with 50hp Mercury outboard.

3) Broom Saturn 15 foot Speed Boat with 55hp Johnson Outboard.

4) Valiant 18 Sailing Cruiser (not the one I owned, a different one!!)

5) Mirror Dinghy (not the one I owned, a different one!!)

6) 7.5foot GRP Dinghy

7) Shetland Suntrip with 60hp Suzuki Outboard.

8) Ballaton 26foot Sailing Cruiser

9) Achilles 24 Sailing Cruiser (very fast!!)

 

Use of (Wife's!!):

 

1) Dawncraft 25.

 

Funny, it seems like you've had loads but there don't seem to be so many when you list them!!

I'm only only on my 2nd boat, although my family have owned three Norton Canes and one Josher, ex-FMC Acacia.

 

1. ex-FMC Saltley built Horseboat

2. ex-FMC Yarwoods built "Fish Class" Motor

2005 Pinder 58ft Semi Trad - still got it, still spending money, still broke but having fun :lol:

 

1989 M&N 55ft trad - bought as a project for my daughter to live on, she got pregnant, left me and her partner the "project" had fun and sold it last year.

I've owned quite a number of boats and barges over de last 37 years :

 

'73-'79: barge 34m x 6 m

'74-'75: small pushertug 5m x 2m 120Hp

'75-'83: barge (Big Tjalk) 33m x 5m shortened to her original size 23m x 5m in '76, left for France with her in '79 where I finished the conversion into a hotel-barge

'75-'79: small harbour-tug 7m x 2.5m

'77-'79: barge 24m x 5m

'83-'97: barge 38.50m x 5.10m '84-'87 converted, and operated as day-trip/restaurant barge until '97

'84-'86: barge 23m x 4.20m

'86-'06: tankerbarge 38.50m x 5.05m

'86-'89: barge 18m x 4.50m

'97-'03: tug converted into motoryacht 15m x 3.85m

'01- present: small motor-tjalk 9.50 x 3.20m

'02- present: cruiser 7.80m x 2.25m

'02-'04: wooden motor-yacht (MFV) 18.20m x 4.02m

'04- present: trawler yacht "JOY" which is my liveaboard-boat

'05-'06: cruiser 9.20m x 3.20m

'07-'09: Tankerbarge 21.50m 4.06m which I started to convert into my future liveaboard barge, but sadly enough had to abandon the project due to health reasons
