The first and last time Jan did the paddles, Sutton stop at Hawkesbury. After this one she clocked the gate walkways and elected to steer in and out the locks.

Hi I only get a chance to visit forum at weekends. Great to know that you had a good holiday. You did not get as far as us - Welford Arm, Leicester summit. If you get a chance the section from Watford locks to Foxton Locks is lovely including 2 tunnels. Hope you get the chance to have your own boat soon. We are planning a trip round the BCN for our holiday this year. Have fun and enjoy!:lol:

Hi Fiona,

We are looking at that route for April though as we are out from Napton Marina.

Beautiful, crisp, clear photo's.

What camera do you use?

Regards.

Thanks Ray -

All of them were taken with a Canon Powershot G11 except for the Braunston Swan picture which was taken with a Sony Alpha 300 dSLR with a Sigma 70-300 mm lens fitted.

Hi Martin

It's been great following your journey on here, isn't it about time you hired again.

I know exactly what you mean regarding the balance between spending on hire boats to satisfy the addiction and the need to save towards ones own vessel.

Lets hope we are both on our own boats soon, I'll give you a wave as we pass.

Kev.
