Lister SR2

Hi All

 

Have a friend on the North Oxford near Roses boats who has a broken lift pump on a SR2 Lister.

Can anyone let me know his nearest suppler, he has only a bike and Roses boats cant help.

take it to a motor factors who may be able to match it up.

done this on my old petter, petter price £185 motor factor £28

not hallfords or motorist discount shops a proper factor

Good news. I'm pleased to hear you are sorted. As a matter of interest, is the lift pump the same SU pump that was fitted to many 1960's cars?

(Fords, BMC etc)

 

I'm interested for future reference in case I might need one.

I have a Lister engine and the corresponding fuel lift pump. I also have the diagram of the said pump in my engine manual. Can't quite figure out how it works but you have the usual diaphragm and filter screen and so on and the primer lever below.

I don't think it's to difficult to get spares for Lister engines.

Glad you've sorted the problem, i gotta lister sr2 too but i haven't got a lift,

i've gotta few steps down and i'm into my boat.
