Until 2015 the World Poohstick Championship was held near here.

I really like Steve the lock keeper at Days. He's a good keeper. Always friendly I remember him when I first went up that way in '94. He's a gentleman and also quite a long serving lock keeper. In the top 5 I think.

 

its odd how he never seems to change. He is older but it just doesn't seem like it.
