Yes thanks 👍 that engine manual was very interesting. I had only found the new green engine one online and the fuel system is a bit different.

With Beta marine the red engines are seagoing heat exchanger cooled with wet exhaust and the green engines are skin tank cooled with dry exhaust.

 

 

I think the answer to this problem is to fill the tank with diesel.

Haha, when I bought the boat, the owner said the water gauge is good but the fuel gauge isn't working. Just dip the tank with a batten.  Following the wires to the tank there was a chocolate block and no sender fitted. lol

The tank is full tp the brim.

Easy, one hand under the thing, one hand pushing it up and the other hand screwing the bolt in
