Thanks to all for your comments.
I’m hoping not being a Springer should help with dry docking for a survey, cleaning and blacking.

So is manufacturer and build date not needed for the licence and insurance?

I’m surprised boats don’t have the equivalent of a VIN to aid identification, deter theft etc?

Where is the boat?

I thought it must be sometime round there. I fitted my new build in 99/2000 and did all the bumff to comply even though I didnt realy need to at the time. I paid Barrie Morse to oversee my build and compile a folder for the RCD bumff, cost me 500 squids at the time.

Ninety five percent sure that it’s a Wakefield boat.  Boats exactly like this were built at Thornes Wharf, that checker stern deck plate is a dead giveaway, along with the guard irons and the general bow profile.

Built like tanks and if it’s had anything resembling maintenance, should be life left in it.
