Johnson Hillock locks shut

The stoppage notice states...

 

Please be advised navigation is currently closed from Lock 58 to Lock 64, Johnsons Hillock Lock Flight on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to an issue with the tail gate at Lock 63.

Stoppage gone already, so presume just a minor disintegration.

I hope so. Kennet is due to go down the locks tomorrow.

Update on 16/05/2023:

We are pleased to advise the repairs to the tail gate at Lock 63 are now complete, and navigation has resumed between Lock 58 to Lock 64, Johnsons Hillock Lock Flight on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
