Looking at the pictures I have an idea that the mounts used are the same ones the original (BMC?) engine was mounted on. Beta marine do supply flexible mounts but depending on the circumstances they may not actually get used in the installation job. This would be worth checking. 

 

 

 

Not the official BMC 1.5 marinisation. They used the metalastic top hat mounts at the back and automotive ones on a  custom  cross member at the front, but possibly used by one of the many unofficial marinisers.

Actually they do look like Beta mounts. The larger engines from 43 up have rectangular mounts but the smaller engines seem to come with these which are the same as in the OP picture.

Once again you can see the slot that allows for slight lateral adjustment - if the orientation of the mount is correct!
