Just heard on the radio that DEFRA has spent £800,000 over the past five years researching wild rabbits.

 

Did I hear someone say they were hard up?

Hasn't there been another outbreak of Myxomatosis recently? Maybe it was something to do with that?

I normally have to really grit my teeth and force myself not to say anything when Defra is mentioned in a thread as I used to work for them, and as such not really allowed to comment for fear that anything I say could be taken as an "official line" (if you see what I mean)
