To find the Eustace Carey

As a youngster my Grandad used to tell me about the Eustace  Carey  and was going to take me onboard   .sadly  I never got the chance  .I'm 74 now and have just come back from Spike  island. Am I still able to see her  ?

The Mersey flats were small flat-bottomed sailing barges that originated on the Mersey but were later used on rivers elsewhere. They were a common sight in the 19th century. The wreck of a Mersey flat called the Eustace Carey can be seen at Spike Island at low tide.

New to this  but I hope this is where  I'm able to sat thank you for the pic  .  I thought a saw what could have been the skeleton  of her today

The Harry Arnold photo was taken earlier than 1984, probably in the early 1960s. This was Eustace Carey in 1975 and 1979.
