Hi, does anyone know of a mobile engineer that could look at our lister engine in Lincoln?

Sorry - No, but it may help if you say which Lister it is, the 'old' air-cooled ones are very different beasties to the 'modern' water cooled such as the LPWS4 etc.

You might find a 'Lister Expert' and then finds he knows little or nothing about your engine model.

I'd never have thought of them - I always thought they only worked on things with 2 foot diameter pistons and 20 foot long crankshafts.

Hopefully they can help.

Worth a try .

If they cant help maybe they know a man who can.

As suggested, tell us which model and explain what your problem is.

I know a traditional spanners man in Lincoln, but his first question is going to be "What is it?" followed by "What's up with it?"

Are you passing through and stuck on the towpath or on moorings with power available for tools?  If you are towpath is access easy when carrying boxes of tools etc?

Are you in a marina which may prohibit access from visiting engineers?
