the broads are lovely, there are we’re some berths you could buy, free hold.

Official residential are few I believe. Some of the yards might take a blind eye approach but that is about it. The mooring on the Broads is very limited in summer anyway as most of the so called wild moorings have been killed off by the BA.

Thousands of places to moor on the broads, just stamp in your Rond anchor into the Rond.  You also need to tow a dinghy to row ashore if you lie to a mud weight on a broad., preferably a wee sailing dinghy.

There are plenty of freehold moorings on the Southern Broads where you can liveaboard. There were a few for sale at Somerleyton not too long back.

Agreed.

 

In all the times we have been to the Broads we have never failed to find a mooring spot be it in our own small boat or on the larger hire boats even during the very busy season in the summer.
