Recondition HP Diesel Pump

Anyone recommend a firm to send a hp diesel pump off a modern Kubuta one cylinder diesel genny to get reconditioned?

Potteries diesels, now PF Jones (Staffs)  or the kings, Wilkinsons in Stockport.

Not impossible to do yourself, I reconditioned mine and 3 injectors with fairly basic (ish) kit

Do you have an injector tester? If not how did you check the spray pattern, dribble, back leakage and set the break pressure?

 

I agree a single element injector pump is a simple thing and changing the element assembly should nit be too difficult but on multi-cylinder pumps you really need a pump tester to phase and calibrate them.

 

I am far from sure Harry's advice is sound for a typical boater.
