  6. Possibly to couch his response in figures that can be related to, we all think of the length of a boat on terms of feet, adverts are generally for boats of X feet. Of course we should be using metric but hey it's a less than perfect world Phil

  8. 2 Houdini hatches double glazed during cold months, a simple piece of acrylic held over the hole in the head lining with swivel plastic clips. Works fine but yes would agree that without some form of DG Houdini hatches "rain" Phil

Interesting to see the term Audax, I rode the first Audax in the UK back in the early 70s it was 600k, Windsor to Chester and back, won a chuffing great trophy which had come from France, I think it was the Sir Hubert Opperman trophy, but might be wrong, it was a long time ago I followed that ride the next weekend with a 12 hour race then the weekend after a 24 hour race. Busy boy in those days, the knees are a bit knackered now. Phil

  21. I suspect anything Evens have to offer is worth a punt as they have an excellent pedigree in the cycling world, I remember using them about 60 years ago. Phil
