  2. Well the 5ltrs of 50:1 2 stroke I have bunged into my tank made bugger all difference to my finely tuned micra. Done it twice now I think and once in a ford escort
  3. As I've never taken the prompt payment discount into account not sure how I can. Not having looked into the proposals to deeply, I think I will eventually get a 2.5% discount for monthly direct debit?
  4. I couldn't afford the lump sum payment when I bought my boat and that stayed the same for 10 years, although I now can the payment comes at MOT and car tax time, plus a couple of other biggish outgoings and I would rather keep a buffer of cash, plus I rather like the convenience of a monthly direct debit. There you go, 1 answer as to why
  5. Pour in your car tank, I bung upto 5ltrs at a time then fill up from the petrol station

  7. Which I do of course I leave the husky users manual with them, they enjoy a giggle
  8. Best quality 2 stroke, alway clean after use, fluffy blanket to keep em warm, nice quiet corner so they can enjoy their retirement. Going too far?
  9. I am sure it would be ok, as you have found but I like to give my saws a bit of tlc, just habit
  10. As I now rarely use a chainsaw I often have premixed 2 stroke hanging around, it seems fine left for 6 months but I wouldn't use it any older, Any unused, normally 5lts or less gets put in the cars tank, just prior to a fill up

  12. Am I the only one who would rather enjoy going through this in a boat?
  13. Never been but we are in the new forest area in a few weeks, might have a look if we have time. The other half is very patient but there is a limit to how many trees she can look at with me, so we might have to waste some time doing other things
  14. Funnily enough this is similar to what you told me whilst I was mid breakdown trying to plumb in my new cauliflower. Plumbing is a mix of shopping and the old boardgame mousetrap, plus a bit of extra shopping when you realise you forgot a bit

Different methods to cook, still peasant food, its only when arty farty cooks start pontificating about proper recipes, every house used to cook scouse based on what they had available, no meat blind scouse, lamb neck lamb scouse, beef shin beef scouse etc. Brisket from a proper butcher, dead cheap from the local place. Mutton has become a posh food I think due to attempts to market it

Nope, at least in my opinion, its just cheap food, every area has similar, Lancashire hot pot, irish stew, pasties. Its only recently people can afford to get all picky about the proper way to cook them, no one cared as long as it was cheap and filling

Real scouse should be the tough gnarly bits of meat that the butcher almost gives away. If your really skint just a shin bone. If your really really skint, show the pan a photo of the butchers To add mum used to use neck of lamb a lot in her scouse, still remember picking out the bits of windpipe and gristle Plus I second @Dr Bob suggestion of a scouse butty
