i cannot believe that you have bought or borrowed or hired a boat without basic knowledge about something like this, Any reputable company either selling, hiring, or lending you a boat should not do this, for obvious reasons

I personally think. if i was in this situation, i would'nt pay my way, they don't, why the hell should you? get your reminders etc, of them then,when they come to see you, eventually, then have your say. It does not make it right this way but, their way is a lot worse, keep your money to one side in case of eviction or whatever they do, you can always pay up at the death. In the past iv'e done this with car tax and got away with it for years (dont you hate me now) even insurance, but that's my past, this is what these people are doing today, they are 20 yrs behind me but,10 years in front of you.they will pay evetually, but until then, YOU, will pay their way, not nice, but true, thanks, ray, (reformed character)
