the untimely death of a child is a tragedy for the family and friends of that child. As far as risk taking goes I'm here posting this in spite of any amount of juvenile forays along pipes over shallow and deep water and climbing on anything available and climb able. I used to try influence my mothers choice of footwear based on comfort and being good for climbing stuff. I was a curious little kitten and I'm still here . I consider myself lucky and I carry on taking risks but not with other people's lives. I reckon there's any amount of us who are only here due to luck not judgement .

Sudbury is a smart boat and I couldn't really say why I didn't buy it , perhaps because it was just too different to my last boat . who has bought Sudbury I wonder

Our garden isn't spectacularly tidy and we own it . It's down to character not where you live . My relatives in council housing were keen gardeners, I'm not . I don't really understand why Marina operators are so careless about the state of the pontoons , it's a lot harder to get out of the water than to fall in. I'm not risk adverse and certainly take chances at times but not with other people's safety.

My latest head scratching moment has been over change of owner details without needing to buy a licence . I filled out a form and sent it off . There doesn't seem to be any reply to let me know the details have been changed. I wouldn't be at all surprised to have some fun when needing to re licence , things get sorted in the end but often by a tortuous path.

I'm used to this system and don't want to change so need to buy a changeover switch . Any recommmendations . Don't want to use diode splitter or split charge relay all though I know many consider them a better option.

I'm amazed by how narrow and slippery some Marina pontoons are . Not a problem where I moor but I've visited some places that didn't inspire confidence .

The results of contact with CRT licensing department and BW before them can vary from interesting to infuriating via downright bizarre. I suspect the IT system is inflexible and the poor souls who have to use are often exasperated by its shortcomings . I've had some odd experiences , gender change being one . It took a bit of effort to get back to being a Mrs not a Mr . Their real boob was sending out a licence that expired before posting . As I moor on private water I don't need a licence until I go out boating. I'm sure I will have some fun when I need another licence .

Piling in with my question as well . Does anybody insulate between the battens and cabin sides ?

If the police don't deal with things properly it leaves an opening for rough justice . Not recommended and with plenty of scope for error

I agree , in the end it would do much for the welfare of animals if the law was enforced . Nobody wants their beloved pets harmed .
