  10. What makes you think that that is the problem? Unless it has gone short circuit, you will not get a reading across it with an ordinary type of test meter.

  12. I have had two of these chargers. The first one showed an error of FO5 after approx 24 hours, so thinking that the battery might in fact be faulty, I bought a new battery, but I had the same problem. Needless to say, I took the charger back and got a replacement ..... with exactly the same result. i can only assume that they are a piece of overpriced rubbish. They certainly don't do what they say on the box, because it appears to be impossible to leave them connected to a battery as a "float" charger. It has been relegated to the shed ever since, never to see daylight again. edit to say: I have a single 90Ah battery
  13. If the stove is installed properly, following best practice , then yes, they are safe. I think any form of heating that uses an open flame of any sort will cause condensation, but it shouldn't be a major problem as long as you have adequate ventilation. Another option would be to light the oven for a while [if you have one] or use one of the small portable gas heaters that use disposable cannistaers.

  15. I've measured a few "dud" batteries @ approx 8 to 8.7 volts, but that is the off-load reading, so I don't really know what the true reading would be on-load.
