  1. Original Poster here. Just to advise that the kingfisherdieselengines website address has changed to http://www.kingfisherdieselengines.uk which means that links provided in earlier posts won't connect. All the same information is still on the website plus some new documentation. Sorry for any inconvenience but the change has reduced the expense of maintaining the site.
  2. Mike, if you have documentation in English other than that in the links below, or in better condition, I would like to add it to the kingfisher engines website Library. If you'd rather I didn't I would like a personal copy. Scanned copies can be sent to me by email using the Contact form on my website. Any new info is gratefully received! http://kingfisherdieselengines.uk/Fuzhou 295 & 395 Manual & Parts List.pdf http://kingfisherdieselengines.uk/MA Gearbox Manual & Parts List.pdf http://kingfisherdieselengines.uk/kd36.html
  3. Probably because they're in the Links Directory. (Sorry, I quoted Athy's post - should have been Mike the Boilerman's)
  4. The website is still online. The link in the post above is no longer valid. That shown in my signature and here is the current link.
  5. Tried to renew my licence on-line today and unlike BlueStringPudding's experience mine was far from heavenly! I was given the option of signing in or registering. As I don't remember registering I tried that only to be told that my email was already registered, that meant I had to sign in with a password. Guess what? Not only couldn't I remember registering but I couldn't remember the password. Tried the convenient 'Reset Password' button especially created for people like me and duly received a link by email. The link took me to a page where I could provide a new password (and confirm it). Too easy? Well, yes. The submit button sent me to a page which told me that something had gone wrong and that their engineers were aware and were working on it. So I phoned the Customer Service number, explained what had happened and the helpful lady took my details and renewed my licence. As many of you will know, the licence should now be available to download and this was duly confirmed by email, even providing the link, which of course took me to the Sign In page. Although I know my email address I don't know my password........... OK, I'll try again tomorrow!
  6. (bounce) the consultation document asks for feedback before the 1st March
  7. OK so the petition only has just over 600 supporters to date. Is that apathy? We have only (quote) "until 1st March" (Friday) to submit the consultation feedback forms - express your opinion! Whether or not they will make any difference is another question. Alan might just receive FOI replies by the 28th and (hopefully) post them so that we can use them in feedback before the cutoff date (is that 28th or 1st?)
  8. I did wonder why Bulbourne wasn't included in the consultation. Maybe another 'No Mooring' stretch once the new residents object to boats moored on the canal? edited to insert 'moored'
  9. Try this instead or a mirror site here. Once on the internet, nearly always there somewhere! edited to add second link
  10. Remember, there is a petition canal-and-river-trust-stop-in-the-whole-the-south-east-vm-proposals if you wish to sign it.
  11. Hi Ian, I can't send a PM from this forum (New members (sub 5 posts) will not automatically have access to the PM (private message) system as a spam limitation measure). Please visit the Kingfisher forum/messages and look in your Inbox
  12. Oops! Spare parts are not a lot of help then and neither am I, sorry.
  13. Hi Ian, Do you need spare parts or is it a problem with the pump body? Here's a link for Jabsco water pump 5870KD spares. There is also a model 5870 which was supplied for Lister Petter engines and which may have common parts.
  14. <snip> Oh, are you suggesting the OP has natural rope handling lines? I was, but not any more (op's other post) (edited to add link)
  15. No, mine are Hempex in an attempt to match the manila tipcat and fenders. The op's question also referred to natural rope which I took to mean lines.
