That isn't a lock at I highlighted Tetney it's just a set of flood gates, it's named wrong on the map.

I'll get in the loft this weekend and see if I can find those old photos to post for you Peter, last time I visited Drungewick lock was still derelict and there was no bridge or aqueduct the lock hopefully will be back in use this year.

I have been to that dock many times to go aboard the Zebu when it used to be there.

Have you been back since then Peter to see the restored section and trip boats?

Looks like they took off one of the gate paddles, it was a Wey & Arun original that I rescued from Malham Lock and restored to working order. I also remember helping make those gates, they came if I remember correctly from the GU at Watford, we took them apart cut off the rot and reassembled as we needed narrower gates and not so deep, but that was easier said than done the Oak was so well seasoned it was black so cutting and drilling it took a huge effort. I shall attempt to find my photo archive

I need to find my archive to plunder it it's all buried in the loft, as well as cruising photos I have 100's of black & whites of the early days of Wey & Arun canal restoration when I was the trust photographer.

As well as the car it looks like someone dumped a load of Kingspan composite roof panels in the cut they can be recycled.

As they have chose 6th June 'D' Day for CC'ers to move by are they expecting them to invade France ?
