    That looks pretty tidy by my standards. It is the view out of the windows from the inside that I don't like being cluttered.

    Enjoy your unnecessarily untidy windows. May as well just use sticky tape then, it will look crap either way.

    If it is needed for the forum to survive and it is just for guests, why not? Any that don't like it can just join up or turn on adblocker. I would also look into why this shortfall has come about in the first place. Figure out what has driven away your donators.

    I have asked them, they told me it was no longer necessary. Have you ever heard of anyone getting trouble for not displaying a licence?

    No need to display them as long as you have your index number displayed. They will just make your windows look untidy.

    I'm sure in 10 years we will all have pvc framed house windows in our boats thanks to this pioneer leading the way.

    Because other boats will be moving about close to yours, maybe even right up against it, even if you are in a marina. As I said before, if house windows in boats was a good idea more boats would have them.

    Why do you say that? From my experience, boats with amateur fitouts quite often end up having other less obvious bodges onboard. Things like badly fitted electrics. That is exactly what they did. Why would you want to buy a boat that has been worked on by someone that knows little about boats?

    The safety cert was done over a year ago. I would be wary that the recent refurb and electrics have been done since that.

    If it was a good idea, you would see more boats like that. Other than the windows, it is just an old boat with a recent poor quality owner fitout. I wouldn't go near it.

    That is because they are house windows, not boat windows. If the owner thought it acceptable to fit those windows, god knows what else they messed up.
