Yeah, if anyone would like to come along, please PM me. Yeoford is a 12 berth camp boat and last time I checked we had 3 bunks still available. Were starting off from Gas Street basin on Saturday morning and returning there on Sunday evening, so it's really easy for everyone to get to. There will be a small charge probably between £45 and £55 , this covers the hire of the boat and cost of entry. The more people we have coming along, the cheaper it will be.

We can get her moved easily enough, it's just finishing the paint job in time and at the moment I only have weekends to work on her.

Ling is still down at Stratford in the paint dock, looking very doubtful with work commitments that I will be able to get her to the BCN in time, unless someone volunteers to move her for me next week. I'm trying to find another boat for usto use.

I know I've already told you my suggestion, but I think the name Buddy would suit her. The less serious side of me also liked the Teabag suggestion that was on FB earlier in the year.

Does anyone know who painted the stool below? I spoke to Laurence Hogg and he said that the stool and the painting is similar to one which he owned and was made at Charity dock and painted by Jess Owen. If anyone else has any ideas about who painted it, I'd be interested to know. Thanks. Sarah

Stuart who runs Barnowl is a good friend of mine and he's aware how out of date his website is, the guy who currently looks after his website charges a stupid amount of money for every update he makes to the website. Stuart has asked me to look into setting up a fully content managed website for him, so that he can keep the site upto date and at no extra cost.

Which way you heading down? She'll be at Kinver, fancy a trip down the S&W?

I agree with you, it's a boat that I've always admired for that reason, but she has the potential to be a really stunning boat. I'm just delighted I've managed to get her finally.

At the moment the plan is just to tidy her up and use her over the next few months, then get her on the dock in the winter and see what needs doing. I probably will end up replacing the cabin, as the current one is really very naff!

Hi All, I recently purchased ex-FMC Ling from British Waterways and I'm looking to gather together some information on her history. Who crewed her, what cargos she carried, etc. I have found a couple of photos of her so far, one of her in FMC Livery and another in BW SWD Livery, but I haven't seen any photos (other than recent ones) of her as a maintenance boat. If anyone has any information or photogrpahs they could share it would be much appreciated. Sarah

Not planning on taking her back to NC until later on in the year. Will be picking her up from Stewponey Wharf, then maybe head up to Brewood or Great Haywood area, no concrete plans yet. Not really thinking much about engines at the moment, hull and cabin will be priority when we get her on the dock. Twin engine?? Sounds interesting

Mark, we're hopefully picking her up next week if I can get time off, we'll be heading up your way! At some point I'll think about changing the engine, which boat is it from?

Ibex has gone to Roger Fuller. I know who has got 3 of the boats, but I'm not sure if they have completed the purchase yet and want it to be public knowledge.
