  2. i make a few solar panel frames over a year. there becoming more popular as time goes on it seems. the frame i make has a U sshaped bracket on the underside, which is the attached to a bracket on the roof, bracket of owners chioce butmost are fixed on with these security type screws. a bit of a deterent i suppose.
  3. shame you so far away, i make those type of doors along with a few others.
  4. if i burn wood, me draft is open one hole turn, and can keep the fire in all night. if i burn coal, me draft is open one and a quater, and the fire will stop in all night. have you not got the draft set to low??
  5. that boat in the feild, is a friends of mine. he has a habbit of buying knackers, he bought a concrete one with a crack in it. anyway, the one in the field needs a new bottom, who knows if it will ever get done!! cracking bloke he is anorl.

  7. i had the prob of tar running down the side of me vessel, and had a inner liner aswell. i tried the fill it we rock wall option and all i ended up with was a soggy mess off rain soaked rock wall and still running tar. now ive got a inner liner that sits about a inch higher than the outer, never had a prob with this set up at all.

  10. me engine is believed to be out one of the life boats off the queen mary, one of a pair, the one i have runs backwards. thornycroft rj2, circa 1934, have the number of it wrote down somewhere.

  12. happy new year all. ive got a new pressure kettle. when ive got it fitted. do i activate the water pump so it fills kettle with water before i pump it up? or do i pump it up before i fill it with water?? also, my water pump is 25psi so what pressure should the kettle be inflated to? thanks
  13. maplins do some good little solar panels for keeping bats topped up, ive got one for keeping me lr bat topped up in the winter when left.

  20. im thinking the same sort of idea. i were thinking a comp fan behind the stove, piped onto some sort of car window screen clearing thingy, with the warm air being blown out in a couple of slots from the bottom of a cupboard. just a thought though at the min.
  21. evening all, mad axe man here. i assume theres a few squirrel owners on here. well after 7yrs of owning a squirrel, ive only just opened the top vent when burning wood,seems to get red hot really fast. does anyone else use the top vent? spoke to a few peeps and they never have. thanks, pete.
  22. lmao, no offence meant. i do a bit of work down in braunston now and then (not we the axe) saw you were moored there were going to introduce meself, perhaps not now. i was down there today, but just getting robed by swindlers
