From friday to sunday on the flight and johnson hill locks both open only for 10am to 2pm Blackburn due to open sunday and due to low water restrictions put in place 14skipper

Cart have imposed a 10am to 2pm opening hours wigan and johnstonhills locks ,for the next 3 days due to low water. Do they have any idea how long it can take to do the flight might as well just shut it altogether. 14skipper

just done the same trip have to agree about moor where you want.like the wide beam and 4 others moored on the bottom of a lock flight moorings on a very windy day ! 14skipper

I steer the boat my wife does the lock.if somebody wants to help then they are most welcome.But she will soon put in order anybody she felt was doing anything that would put our boat or us in danger. 14 skipper

Moorings belong to uni,but due to misuse by long term moorers leaving a mess and one in paticular p..ssing in doorways of the student accomidation.the uni asked cart to remove mooring rings and put up no mooring signs.so as been said there are a shortage of moorings made worse by those who caused this moving across canal and mooring on what few moorings there were.came through yesterday and no moorings free so had to keep going. 14 skipper

If its a view you want out of your window everytime you moor up perhaps you should consider crusing the med next year ! 14 skipper

Went last year loved it will go again soon .on second thoughts it a crap canal where they let the grass grow and don,nt put moorings where you want them best you all stay down south with all your maicured lawns and nose to tail Moorings.best not come on the lancs Either where l am now you will hate it no moorings and elephant grass 12ft high. 14 skipper

Oh s...t came through wigan today on my 60ft ! On my way up north guess should have stopped at dry dock in wigan and had boat shortened. 14skipper

Think lately that tescos Have gone downhill very quick,and that several of the so called lower order supermarkets aldi lidi are fast over takeing tesco in quality. 14 skipper

Was moored in Audlem ten days ago got hit by a share boat for no apprent reason l could see no sorry or anything. Days later was moored in nantwich,bang hit again looked out to see same boat with the same prat "steering" ! Again not a word ! 14skipper
