Hi

The pump seems to have broken on our boat. We have tried bleeding he radiators and the thermostat is working.

The pump is in a sealed unit so we can't get into it.  Does anyone know a plumber in or near Stratford Upon Avon who might be able to help? Thanks a lot

That certainly does not necessarily follow, necessarily!

When you bled the radiators, what came out? Water? Air? Nothing at all?

What is the heat source? Is it hot?

How do you know the thermostat is working?

Have you measured the voltage on the input terminals when you think it ought to be running? What is the voltage?

Hi    thanks... air and then water. Then husband topped up the header tank.

The radiators usually only get hot when the multi fuel stove is hot... the thermostat activates the pump.

Even when stove been on for hours the radiators don't get hot.

Thanks

Oh and Re the thermostat...The fire heats up the thermostat and when it gets to a certain temperature it activates the pump so the pump makes a whirring noise but then the radiators don't get hot.  Any ideas?  Thanks

Yes. As mentioned before, start by measuring the voltage on the pump terminals. What is it?!
